Treatment for Vitiligo

There is no specific cure for vitiligo, Although several treatment options for vitiligo are available to help restore skin color and the results are unpredictable. It is important to see a doctor to determine the severity of your condition before you commence any form of treatment. Due to increased risk of cancer using other treatment options like steroid or altraviolet light combined with cream, The United kingdom's National Health Service (UKNHS) suggests the use of phototherapy only if primary treatment of vitiligo are ineffective.
